Ideas and Inspirations:

I want a monochromatic, modern look with vintage and antique elements. The colors are white, ivory, and champagne with possible accents of espresso brown (not sure about that though, might just stick with the first three). I am not sure if that makes any sense whatsoever. But in my head, and my world, it does. :)

I love anything shabby chic. I want strings of lightbulbs, lanterns, antique looking chandeliers, and vintage vases, cake stands, etc. I have found a lot of pictures on the Knot that I will use for inspiration.

I am in Montana now, trying to organize and make all my DIY projects. It is a bit overwhelming! I just hope to get it all done.

I am pretty sure that the best decision I have made so far was to hire a wedding planner! She is doing "day of coordination," which includes the rehearsal, but she still corresponds with me via email and helps me find what I need. So unbelieveably helpful. www.icingonthecakeevents.com

I have always liked these strings of lights. My wedding planner said she has tons of them I can use.

Absolutelyhave to have chadeliers! I think my wedding coordinator knows where to rent some.

Instead of a slideshow with music, I want to have copies of my fiance and I growing up and have them arranged like this somehow for people to walk by and look at.

Lots of soft light, candles, and white flowers.

The tables will also have lots of arrangements of relatively inexpensive  white flowers, like maybe a ton of densly bunched white carnations and/or baby's breath. I've seen baby's breath in pictures, and if done right, it can look pretty lush. We'll see what my wedding coordinator thinks of the ideas.

I want to have a wishing tree and some vintage framed photos of my grandparents and relatives who have passed on.

This will be a DIY project for the summer!
