Hair Idea #1:

Picture
A good friend of D and I will be doing my hair for the wedding. She is the wife of one of D's groomsmen. She is a top hair stylist where she lives in Montana, and does lots of wedding hair. I am really excited to go hang out with her, have hair trials, and possibly drink wine together! She is awsome.

The last time I had a french twist, It looked like a giant hair helmet on my head. I hated it. But, I may give it a chance again at the hair trial.
My hair is medium brown, thick and just past my shoulder blades...so I think I have too much of it right now to pull this off.

Hair idea #2:

I also like this a lot.

Yep, copying Princess Kate's manicure:

I had originally wanted to have a nude or pale pink manicure for my fingers. I am wayyyy over the whole acrylic nail/french manicure trend. I want to get the new kind of long-last chip free nail polish. And yes, I want to copy The Duchess' manicure. But it was my idea first! I swear.

Kate's nail polish!

This isn't it, but I have already figured out what they were, and will order and try them. I love the classic, simple look.

Make-up look:

I will hire a professional makeup artist who does airbrush foundation, since I have heard rave reviews about it. I am ready to splurge.

I like the look at left on Beyonce. Dark, emphasized eyes, long lashes, and a flushed look with light, natural lipstick.

Eye makeup:

I typically wear quite a bit of eye makeup on a daily basis (like not drag queen, but I always wear shadow, eyeliner, brow powder, mascara), so in order to do something special, I will have to get a pretty damn smokey eye going for the wedding day! I want to have natural-looking faux lashes and a nice smokey eye that isn't goth or black all across my lid.

<----Like this! I also have brown almond shaped eyes like this model, so this is pretty close to how I hope to look.

Toenails:

I will have a lovely pedicure the day before the wedding, and will pick some sort of reddish wine-colored toenail polish.

I wear some variation of this shade almost always, and my toenails don't feel right without red! So, the same goes for the wedding day! Plus, my shoes look fabulous with reddish-burgundy toenails!
