Well, a little bit about how we met. Warning, this is confusing and boring:

D and I met through mutual friends at a winter-break get together in my hometown a long time ago when I was 19, and D was only 20. C went to high school with D's college roommates. C hardly remembers D from this first brief meeting and D says her remembered me ever since then, and always wanted to meet me again.

Fast forward five years, and D has finished his BA at the university of Montana, and I had just moved there and begun my MA program in the Fall of 2007. Turns out, D is roommates with my little sister's boyfriend who lives there and is also attending UM. Are we all keeping up with this?

Around October of that Fall, I started hanging out on a regular basis with my little sister and her boyfriend, and so, incidentally, I was also around their friends, one of whom ended up being D. After hanging out with mutual friends a few times, D and I started to chat nonchalantly and platonically via Facebook, and by about January, this turns into daily Facebook messages via Facebook to one another. By Valentine's Day, it was clear they we were falling for each other, they started talking on the phone, and that summer, I followed D up to Alaska for the summer, and eventually moved there upon finishing grad school in the Spring of 2009.
